SW7 underwater thruster, at least 7 kgf of static thrust. 700 g.
The SW7 is an underwater thruster designed for shallow-water applications. Sealing, corrosion resistance and heat dissipation are handled in the housing itself, so no extra enclosure is needed.
Typical applications include unmanned underwater vehicles, handheld diving thrusters and shallow-water robotic platforms.
The SW7 is a compact underwater thruster that delivers at least 7 kgf of static (bollard) thrust. This value is measured with the thruster stationary, and thrust drops as the vehicle speeds up. When choosing a thruster, take into account the water resistance at the vehicle's target speed.
It runs at 36 V with a rated power of 360 W. It weighs 700 g in air and 395 g in water. It suits light unmanned marine vehicles, stand-up paddle boards and handheld diving thrusters. It can be used at depths between 0 and 30 meters.
Is the driver included?
No. The thruster runs with an external ESC. CubeMars recommends the TW-40A-12S ESC for this model.
How large is the propeller?
80 mm. The propeller is aluminum alloy and the nozzle is POM.
How is sealing achieved?
The housing consists of two separate sealed chambers, and the main shaft is closed with a low-friction dynamic seal. This keeps sand and salt away from the internal components.
Does it need maintenance after use?
Especially after use in seawater, rinse the thruster with fresh water. The operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C.

In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
