GL100 KV10 gimbal motor, 3 Nm rated and 7.7 Nm peak torque. 223 rpm no-load speed, 698 g.
The GL100 KV10 is the most powerful gimbal motor in the CubeMars GL series. It is a high-precision brushless motor designed for high-end gimbal systems, autonomous driving perception modules and radar scanning heads. For a weight of 698 g and a size of Ø106.8 × 34.2 mm it delivers 3 Nm rated and 7.7 Nm peak torque. Its 30 mm center hole lets cables and a slip ring pass through.
Typical applications include heavy camera and optics gimbals, rotating modules for autonomous driving perception, radar scanning heads and platforms that must turn a heavy load slowly but precisely.
The GL100 KV10 delivers 3 Nm rated and 7.7 Nm peak torque. In a gimbal, the required torque depends on how far the load's center of gravity sits from the rotation axis. For example, an 8 kg optical system with its center of gravity 3 cm off the axis needs about 2.35 Nm of static torque (8 × 9.81 × 0.03). That load stays within the motor's rated torque.
It runs on 24 V, with a rated current of 2.9 A and a peak current of 7.8 A. Its torque constant is high at 1.03 Nm/A, so it produces high torque at low current. If a lighter, faster motor is enough, the GL80 KV30 may be a better fit.
Are the driver and encoder included?
No. The GL100 is the motor only. The manufacturer states that it enables high-precision control when paired with an encoder. The driver and encoder are chosen separately.
Is a gearbox needed?
Usually not in gimbal applications. The motor gives high torque at low speed to carry the load directly, which gives a quiet axis with no gear backlash.
What about insulation and operating conditions?
Insulation is class H and tested at 1000 V. The operating temperature range is -20 °C to 50 °C.

The most common questions about motor selection, delivery and technical support.
Our products ship from our own warehouse in Turkey. Your order is dispatched within 3 business days. Current stock status is shown on this page.
Yes. Tell us the torque, speed and supply voltage you need, and we will find the right series together. You can also compare using the specifications table on this page and the filters on the category page.
Robotizma is an official CubeMars distributor. Every product we sell is genuine and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
