GL60 KV25 gimbal motor, 0.6 Nm rated and 1.75 Nm peak torque. 516 rpm no-load speed, 230 g.
The GL60 KV25 is a brushless gimbal motor from the CubeMars GL series, designed for gimbals, radar scanning heads and autonomous driving platforms. It works with 24 V systems and delivers 1.75 Nm peak torque from 230 g. Its wide 20 mm center hole allows internal wiring or slip ring integration.
Besides camera gimbals, typical applications include vehicle-mounted sensing units, rotary modules, radar scanning heads and other rotating mechanisms that need high torque at low speed.
The GL60 KV25 delivers 0.6 Nm rated and 1.75 Nm peak torque. In a gimbal, the required torque depends on how far the load's center of gravity sits from the rotation axis. For example, a 2 kg camera or sensor with its center of gravity 2.5 cm off the axis needs about 0.49 Nm of static torque (2 × 9.81 × 0.025). That load stays within the motor's rated torque.
It runs on 24 V, with a no-load speed of 516 rpm and a rated speed of 310 rpm. Rated current is 1.35 A and peak current is 4 A. For heavier loads, the GL80 KV30 may be a better fit.
Is the driver included?
No. The GL60 is the motor only, and the gimbal controller or FOC driver is chosen separately.
Does it have an encoder?
This product is the motor without an encoder. The manufacturer also offers an encoder option for the GL60. According to the manufacturer, the motor enables high-precision control when paired with an encoder.
Can a slip ring be fitted?
Yes. The 20 mm center hole is designed for slip ring integration, so cables do not wind up during continuous rotation.

In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
