G60 KV25 gimbal motor, 0.6 Nm rated and 1.75 Nm peak torque. 516 rpm no-load speed, 230 g.
The G60 KV25 is the low-speed, low-current winding of the CubeMars G60 gimbal motor. On 24 V it delivers 0.6 Nm rated and 1.75 Nm peak torque with a rated current of only 1.35 A. For the G60 the manufacturer states 0.01° precision and a high slot-fill winding. The 230 g motor has no driver board and is used with an external FOC driver.
Typical applications include professional camera gimbals, slow and precise rotating radar heads, vehicle-mounted sensing units and axes in autonomous driving systems that need high torque at low speed.
The G60 KV25 delivers 0.6 Nm continuous and 1.75 Nm peak torque. On a gimbal motor the torque demand is mostly set by how far the center of gravity of the load sits from the axis. For example, a 2 kg camera assembly with its center of gravity 2.5 cm off the axis needs about 0.5 Nm of static torque (2 × 9.81 × 0.025). That stays within the rated torque, and the peak torque leaves margin for sudden moves.
At 24 V the no-load speed is 516 rpm and the rated speed 310 rpm. Peak current is 4 A. If the axis must turn faster, the KV55 winding of the same housing may be a better fit, and for more torque, the G80 KV30.
Should I choose KV25 or KV55?
Both windings have the same rated and peak torque. The KV25 gives that torque with less current and suits slow, precise axes. The KV55 turns faster at 1140 rpm no-load.
Is a driver included?
No. The product page lists the driver board option as "no". The motor is used with an external FOC gimbal driver.
What is the difference between the G60 and the GL60?
The electrical figures on both pages are the same. The GL60 page states IP45 protection, the motor size and a packing list. The G60 page gives no dimensions, so check the 2D drawing PDF for mounting dimensions.
Can it be used outdoors?
The manufacturer states that the G60 has high water and dust resistance. The operating temperature range is -20 °C to 50 °C. For projects that require a specific protection rating, contact our team.
The manufacturer does not publish a detailed packing list or box size on the G60 page. Ask our team about cables and mounting parts before ordering.

The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
