G100 KV10 gimbal motor, 3 Nm rated and 7.7 Nm peak torque. 223 rpm no-load speed, 698 g.
The G100 KV10 is the largest and highest torque gimbal motor in the CubeMars G series. On 24 V it delivers 3 Nm rated and 7.7 Nm peak torque and weighs 698 g. Its no-load speed is 223 rpm and its rated speed 130 rpm. For the G100 the manufacturer states 0.01° precision and a high slot-fill winding. The motor has no driver board and is used with an external FOC driver.
Typical applications include the pan axes of heavy cinema camera gimbals, large surveillance and thermal camera turrets, heavy radar heads and large perception modules on autonomous vehicles.
The G100 KV10 delivers 3 Nm continuous and 7.7 Nm peak torque. On a gimbal motor the torque demand is mostly set by how far the center of gravity of the load sits from the axis. For example, an 8 kg camera turret with its center of gravity 3 cm off the axis needs about 2.35 Nm of static torque (8 × 9.81 × 0.03). That stays within the rated torque, and the peak torque leaves margin for wind and sudden moves.
Rated current is 2.9 A and peak current 7.8 A. Rotor inertia is 2310 g·cm², the highest in the G series. If you need a faster, lighter axis, the G80 KV30 or G80 KV60 may be a better fit.
Is a driver included?
No. The product page lists the driver board option as "no". The motor is used with an external FOC gimbal driver.
What is the difference between the G100 and the GL100?
The electrical figures on both pages are the same. The GL100 page states IP45 protection, the motor size and the package size. The G100 page gives no dimensions, so check the 2D drawing PDF for mounting dimensions.
How fast does it turn?
On 24 V the no-load speed is 223 rpm and the rated speed 130 rpm. The motor is designed for slow, powerful motion.
Can a slip ring be fitted?
Yes. The large center hole is designed for slip ring integration and cable routing.

The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
