AK60-6 V3.0 KV80 robotic actuator, 3 Nm rated and 9 Nm peak torque. 640 rpm no-load speed, 380 g.
The AK60-6 V3.0 is an integrated robotic actuator with a 6:1 planetary gearbox. Its redesigned electromagnetic layout leaves more headroom for short overloads.
Typical applications include robot joint systems, humanoid robots, collaborative robots, legged robot platforms, AGV and AMR systems, medical devices and university R&D projects.
The AK60-6 V3.0 is a lightweight joint actuator with 3 Nm continuous and 9 Nm peak torque. For example, a 1.5 kg load at the end of a 20 cm arm needs about 2.9 Nm of static torque (1.5 × 9.81 × 0.20). That matches the actuator's rated torque.
For short loads such as jumps, sudden starts or impacts, the 9 Nm peak torque comes into play. Keeping the continuous load slightly below rated torque limits heating and extends joint life. If your load is higher, the AK70-10 or AK80-8 class is a better fit.
Are the driver and encoder included?
Yes. The driver board and encoder are inside the actuator housing, so no separate driver board is needed.
How does it communicate?
It comes with a power and CAN communication cable and a serial communication cable. The R-Link V3.0 interface is used for parameter setup and first commissioning.
What changed in V3.0?
The redesigned electromagnetic layout leaves more headroom for short overloads. Its impact-resistant bearings also extend joint life on walking and jumping platforms.
How much gearbox backlash is there?
According to the manufacturer, backlash at the output shaft is 0.55 degrees.

The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
