AK60-6 V1.1 KV140 robotic actuator, 3 Nm rated and 9 Nm peak torque. 560 rpm no-load speed, 368 g.
The AK60-6 V1.1 KV140 is a robotic actuator that combines a brushless motor, a 6:1 planetary gearbox and the driver board in a housing 79 mm in diameter and only 39.5 mm long. Its high KV rating lets it reach 420 rpm rated speed on a low 24 V supply. With a simple, reliable drive architecture, a slim housing and a weight of 368 g, it is designed for portable exoskeletons and light legged robots.
The manufacturer recommends this model for legged robots, exoskeletons and AGVs. It suits battery-powered exoskeleton joints worn on the body, small quadruped robots and education platforms that need a quick response.
The AK60-6 V1.1 delivers 3 Nm continuous and 9 Nm peak torque. For example, a 1 kg load at the end of a 25 cm arm needs about 2.5 Nm of static torque (1 × 9.81 × 0.25). That load stays within the actuator's rated torque.
The price of high speed at low voltage is current. Rated current is 6.5 A and peak current is 22.7 A, so size the power supply and cables accordingly. The output bearing has a dynamic load rating of 3,150 N and a static load rating of 4,500 N.
Is the driver included?
Yes. The driver board and encoder are inside the housing. The box includes separate power, CAN and serial communication cables.
Which software is used to configure it?
The AK60-6 V1.1 is configured with the 2.0 generation AK series driver software. The PC software, driver manual and firmware are available on the CubeMars product page.
How much gearbox backlash is there?
According to the manufacturer, 0.55 degrees.
Does it have dual encoders?
No. It uses a single 14-bit magnetic encoder. For applications that must remember the output position after power loss, see the AK V3.0 dual encoder models.
Box size 137 x 134 x 74 mm.
To configure and test the actuator from a computer, see the R-LINK USB to CAN adapter.

Yes. Tell us the torque, speed and supply voltage you need, and we will find the right series together. You can also compare using the specifications table on this page and the filters on the category page.
Robotizma is an official CubeMars distributor. Every product we sell is genuine and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
