G35 KV100 gimbal motor, 0.15 Nm rated and 0.46 Nm peak torque. 1320 rpm no-load speed, 90 g.
The G35 KV100 is a brushless motor that CubeMars designed for gimbal and radar applications, aiming at high torque density at low speed. The manufacturer describes it as an inrunner. The 90 g motor runs on 16 V and delivers 0.15 Nm rated and 0.46 Nm peak torque. It has no driver board and is used with an external FOC driver.
Typical applications include light camera gimbals, handheld stabilizers, aerial photography gimbals, rotating radar heads and autonomous driving sensor modules.
The G35 KV100 delivers 0.15 Nm continuous and 0.46 Nm peak torque. On a gimbal motor the torque demand is mostly set by how far the center of gravity of the load sits from the axis. For example, a 0.5 kg camera whose center of gravity is 2 cm off the axis needs about 0.1 Nm of static torque (0.5 × 9.81 × 0.02). That stays within the motor's rated torque, and a well balanced gimbal has a much smaller offset.
At 16 V the no-load speed is 1320 rpm and the rated speed is 815 rpm. Rated current is 1.3 A, peak current is 4 A and the torque constant is 0.115 Nm/A. For a heavier payload the G40 KV70 from the same series may be a better fit.
Is a driver included?
No. The product page lists the driver board option as "no". The motor is used with an external FOC gimbal driver.
What is the difference between the G35 and the GL35?
The electrical figures on both pages are the same. The GL35 page states IP45 protection, the motor size and a packing list. The G35 page gives no dimensions and mentions water and dust resistance without a rating. Check the 2D drawing PDF for mounting dimensions.
Can a slip ring be fitted?
Yes. The large center hole is designed for slip ring integration and cable routing.
Which control modes does it support?
Speed and position control. The drive method is FOC.

The Specifications section on this page lists rated torque, peak torque, KV, no-load speed, weight and outer dimensions. If you need the detailed datasheet, CAD file or driver documentation, ask our technical team.
We sell to universities, industry and R&D projects. For volume pricing and a formal quote, fill in the Request a quote form on this page and our team will reply with price and delivery details.
In the AK and AKH series actuators the driver board is built into the motor and communicates over CAN. The AKE series and the frameless RI and RO series motors need an external FOC driver. The R-Link and S-Link interfaces are for setup and debugging, and we can support you during installation.
